An ultimate classic that makes the perfect date night even more perfect-er. This 1960 film about a meat-eating, sentient plant went on to inspire musicals and stage performances to this day, and even launched the career of a very youthful Jack Nicholson (he steals the scene by eating a bunch of flowers, kind of a precursor to his future film characters really...). The skid row shots are genuine, the cheesy cardboard cut out characters are a joy to watch. If you haven't planned a creative, quirky and genuine date night for someone you care about, then this is a great place to start. Popcorn provided.
