tickets: $35 each

Brought to you by the podcast cast and crew of 'Tales From Rat City', this is a murder mystery night that is very local and very real! Our story is based on the dark stories of Ballarat past.

This will be a night of high drama! Of suspense! Intrigue! Scandal! Crossdressing! Rollerskating!

Our cast is based on the historical figures from our very own backyard, including:

William Bailey - A paranoid and vain trickster who committed fraud against the Learmonth family, tricking them out of the Edgerton gold mine.

Professor Thomas Montague - A promising young detective, and pioneer of new forms of scientific policing in Ballarat.

Kitty Morgan - A bushranger, thief and mistress of disguise.

Thomas Learmonth - A wealthy Scottish pastoralist with vast acreage and a supporter of temperance.

Lady Diamantina Bowen - The exotic beauty who was a fine pianist and singer, but also had a passion for rollerskating.

Major Jac Jorgenson (Joanna Margherita Jorgenson) - Veteran of the Franco Prussian War who is really a woman in disguise.

Stephen Bailey - Alienated from the Bailey family, Stephen fled Ballarat for Orange in NSW after being refused to be allowed to marry the local farmer's daughter, his sweetheart.

A night to enjoy the tension of days past, get caught up in the politics and high drama over a great glass of wine.
